(本報訊) 選出11名新年度理事 夏州華人聯會會員大會

夏威夷華人聯誼會於十二月一日(星期六) 上午10時假座華埠文化廣場302室中華文化中心禮堂召開2008年新年度會員大會選出新屆理理十一名。

會員大會由該會總幹事王智擔任司儀，首苭挶|長譚雪華報告今年該會舉辦的各項活動，包括卡拉OK比賽，中秋慈善舞會募得二千多元將捐給公立學校做獎學金用途，與中華文化中心合辦盆景藝術和畫展，舉辦社交舞班及余小潔卡拉OK訓練班等，活動頻繁，甚愛僑界歡迎。

接著該會財務路敏燕報告該會財務收支，眾會員鼓掌通過財務報告。

該會主席劉裘蒂隨後上台主持新年度理事提名和投票，選出2008年新班理事如下：路維登，曹秀芬，劉美隆，沈戴佩芳，謝鄧韻雅，王樂伯，劉邦智，路茜琳，丁瑩，汪俊袷，張秉懿等。其中路維登曾擔任台商會會長，曹秀芬，劉美隆為地產商，其他均為連任理事。他們皆為熱心公益，服務不落人後之人仕，該會慶幸得人。

選舉完畢，劉裘蒂主席邀請Humana 保險公司代表Kobayashi先生上台介紹老人醫療卡Medicare的A卡及D卡由張順程先生擔任翻譯及補充說明。聯邦政府規定每年一月一日到一月三十一日持老人醫療卡者可以選換投保的公司，Kobayashi 先生的演講使會眾獲得了新資訊，可以做出正確的選擇。

會後，每位出席會員均獲得使當，大家一面用餐，一面話家常，其樂融融，至中午十二時半，大會順利結束。

理事與會員們娛樂中不忘慈善義舉 - 華聯會中秋慈善募款晚會

(本報夏威夷訊)夏威夷華人聯誼會於九月一日（星期六）晚上六時假座阿拉摩晏娜大酒店Hibiscus大廳舉辦中秋慈善募款晚會，將近四百貴賓光臨，節目豐富多彩，與眾同樂並募集善款，皆大歡喜。

晚會由該會總幹事王智和歌唱家于小潔主持，先請會長譚雪華致詞及介紹貴賓和該會2007年理事與眾見面。當晚出席的貴賓有駐檀台北經文處副處長沈志嚴，中華總會館名譽董事長余玉佳，副主席沈文洲，中華總商會會長貝英華，僑務委員楊泰瑛，華航夏威夷總經理Hamilton Liu，紐約人壽合夥經理高周倩霞，松鶴公司總經理陳淑惠，越棉寮華人聯誼會會長羅鎮澄，潮州同鄉會會長陳昌漢，台商會會長路惟登，佛光山呂建光，慈濟范峰亮，榮光會會長謝深智將軍及多位僑界領導人，會場充滿節慶氣氛。

華人聯誼會每逢中秋節慶活動，均有籌募慈善基金，顯示該會理事及會員們均充滿愛心，娛樂中不忘慈善義舉。該會主席劉裘蒂介紹當晚提供愛心作品義賣的藝術家，張秉懿、尤雯、劉玲芳、楊永勝、梁全基，並請由譚雪華會長頒發感謝狀給他們，眾人鼓掌嘉許。另紐約人壽合夥經理高周倩霞代表公司樂捐一張二千元的支票，上海樓東主女兒唐雅婷（今年華埠小姐參選人）樂捐禮券多張供慈善抽獎用途，均受邀上台接受表揚。

當晚餘興節目由該會副會長王月杏與理事汪俊裕主持，首先邀請陳詠怡(Winnie Chan)小姐鋼琴教室學生陳嘉欣，李晴盺，梁愛子，劉振揚，Celine，Louisa Lau等上台演奏鋼琴名曲，繼由Rock & Roll樂隊現場演奏舞曲，舞會開始，特請由于小潔女士，王月杏女士開唱，譚雪華會長開舞，許多喜愛跳舞者接著陸續進入舞池跳舞，會場氣氛融合輕鬆，是一場非常成功的晚會。

晚會抽獎活動由第一副會長沈戴佩芳及譚雪華會長主持，今年獎品非常豐富，獎品總額價值超出4500元，頭獎國泰珠寶公司捐出的名貴珠寶，由鄭炳鑫先生幸運抽中，中華航空公司香港來回機票則由華人工商企管協會戚王永貴會長抽得。

卡拉ＯＫ點唱，跳舞於九時半後繼續進行，至十一時始盡歡而散，結束了成功的一次中秋聯歡晚會。

華人聯誼會華語歌唱比賽 - 王鐵君以“蘆花”一曲奪魁

(本報夏威夷訊)夏威夷華人聯誼會於五月二十六日（星期六）晚上六時假座麥肯尼高中禮堂舉辦一場非常成功的盛大的華語歌唱比賽，共有二十五位參賽者。聽眾有七百餘人，超過歷年的紀錄，今年為第十九屆該會主辦該項有意義且極受歡迎的活動會場反應熱烈。

比賽晚會由劉邦智和王月杏主持，會長譚雪華致歡迎詞，隨後介紹比賽評審員共有八位，他們是余小潔，方克銘，李天安，張鴻鐘，潘沅芷，楊大偉，黃娟，蘇風。他們均為在歌唱演藝界具有專材或有名望的人士。

二十五位參賽者分別為1.柯倩宜，2.趙婉婷，3.王祥琦，4.唐潔，5.王鐵君，6.宋永泉，7.姜芷澄，8.秦秀雲(長青)，9.劉德浩，10.劉子源，11.王思浩，12.唐子浩，13.梁素慧，14.蔡瑤伶，15.林慧敏，16.許劍峰，17.李永謙，18.田子中，19.江柏儀/蘇彥榮，20.曾韻珊，21.田崎雄三，22.貝力，23.李美嫻，24.朱劍文，25.王智(長青)。當晚他們每位均落力演唱，個個表現音樂天份，評審員選了六名獲得複賽資格，他們是5號王鐵君，15號林慧敏，16號許劍峰，18號田子中，19號江柏儀/蘇彥榮，24號朱劍文。

小休後複賽前，由著名歌星余小潔小姐和楊大偉先生表演歌唱，贏得不少的掌聲。複賽後，華語歌唱比賽第一屆冠軍江俊裕先生和第十八屆冠軍林淑芬小姐也上台合唱一首歌曲，威風不減當年，確實是Karaoke高手。

複賽評選結果是：王鐵君以“蘆花”一曲獲得第一名，獎金五百元獎牌及紀念品。朱劍文以“Dear You”獲得第二名，獎金三百元獎牌及紀念品。江柏儀和蘇彥榮以“梁山伯與茱麗葉”獲第三名獎金一百元獎牌及紀念品。田子中唱“月亮代表我的心”獲第四名，許劍峰唱“特別的愛給特別的你”獲第五名，林慧敏唱“假如讓我說下去”獲第六名，各得五十元獎金，另王智獲長青獎，每一位參賽者也都得到一份禮物，均皆大歡喜。

頒獎後，請由台北經文處王贊禹處長致詞，語多讚揚華人聯誼會的成就，並給予參賽者鼓勵和稱讚，九時半歌唱比賽結束。

當晚贊助華語歌唱比賽的單位包括有：台北經濟文化辦事處，中華航空公司，松鶴國際企業公司，Spots Karaoke，新新電腦科技公司及諸社會賢達共襄盛舉。

慶祝新年 現場樂隊演奏華人聯誼會理事就職聯歡會

(本報夏威夷訊)夏威夷華人聯誼會於三月三日（星期六）晚上六時假座亞拉摩晏拿大酒店二樓芙蓉廳舉辦慶祝2007年春節及理事就職典禮聯歡晚會，到會嘉賓與會員將近四百人，氣氛非常熱烈，喜氣洋洋。　　晚會照往例由著名主持人于小潔和王智主持，兩人語多幽默，一來一往帶動了整個會場的歡樂氣息。六時許首由醒獅上場賀歲，拉開了晚會序幕，繼由會長蔡皚如致詞，介紹該會一年來舉辦的各項活動，並介紹2007年職員理事上前與眾見面就職，他們及職務是﹕主席劉裘蒂，會長譚雪華，第一副會長沈戴佩芳，第二副會長王月杏，理事蔡永強，鐘文漢，攝影蕭定忠，理事康敏，李春生，康樂組長劉邦智，理事路茜琳，路劉玲，會籍組長路敏燕，理事金秀娟，獎學金組長Katie Kao，理事丁瑩，財務組長謝韻雅，總幹事王智，理事汪俊裕，秘書長王羅伯，編輯組長張秉懿，理事James Zhong。

新任會長譚雪華致詞，對前任會長蔡皚如往年對會務的付出和奉獻語多讚揚，她並報告今年該會將舉辦大型活動，包括在5月26日有卡拉ＯＫ歌唱比賽，9月1日有中秋節晚會，歡迎參加。隨後駐檀台北經文處王贊禹處長上台致祝詞，向大家祝賀豬年快樂，並恭賀新職員就職。晚餐與餘興節目由劉邦智和王月杏主持，初次抽獎由副會長沈戴佩芳擔任，今年該會請有Oldies && Goodies樂隊現場表演，此為檀香山僑團活動中首創。

宴會菜餚豐盛，眾皆大快朵頤，用餐後，餘興節目精彩豐富，有卡拉ＯＫ表演，配合樂隊演奏舞曲，會場中間的舞池有人紛紛結伴翩翩起舞，會場洋溢著歡樂的氣氛。

席間譚雪華會長繼續主持抽獎，特別獎包括由國泰珠寶公司董事長熊小雲捐出的名貴珠寶價值一千多元，頭獎則由中華航空公司捐出一張台北夏威夷來回機票由張台兒小姐抽得，由華航夏威夷總經理張鴻鐘親自頒獎。

卡拉ＯＫ點唱和樂隊演奏舞曲持續至九時半許本擬結束，但許多結伴跳舞者興猶未盡，紛紛要求樂隊一再延長時間，社交舞節目持續至晚上十時過後，大家始盡歡而散，又是一次非常成功的聯歡晚會。

The Hawaii Chinese Association in conjunction with the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission of Taiwan is proud to Present a Special Martial Arts and Acrobatic Performance in Honolulu. The performance is 2 hours long. Besides Martial Arts, there is singing, dancing & magic. Most troupe members are graduates of the Fu-hsing Academy. They have performed worldwide to great acclaim. This is their last stop on an 11-city tour.

Mandarin Class- Summer 2005 session of the annual Beijing Yew Chung International Summer School for the study of Putonghua Mandarin Chinese to be held from July 3 - July 24 for students aged 8-18.

This is a unique and cultural experience which focuses on speaking and listening comprehension of Putonghua Mandarin Chinese in a combination of language lessons, supporting practical activities, arts and cultural studies, and excursions to significant sites in the history of China. Students will not only acquire new language skills but also have the opportunity to choose in-depth study of a Chinese musical instrument, martial arts, Chinese folk customs, calligraphy, brush painting, dance, amongst others.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPEAK CHINESE TO ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. All students will be placed according to ability, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced speakers of Chinese. Students will be grouped with peers of equal ability. Over the years, students have come from England, France, Spain, Australia, the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.

This year, our most popular 3-week program (July 3 - July 24) will include a five-day "Summer Adventure in Xi'an" in Shaanxi Province, where students will discover the ancient Chinese capital city Xi'an. Xi'an is home to the Qin Terracotta Warriors, considered to be one of the greatest archeological excavations of the 20th century. An alternative to this program is our shorter 2-week program from July 3 - 17, where students will take in just the historic sites of Beijing.
